The UAE-India Bilateral Ties Flourishes: UAE Ambassador Alshaali Lauds the leadership of PM Modi

The UAE ambassador, Abdulnasser Alshaali underscored the strengthening of economic ties, the fundamental initiatives such as the UAE-India CEPA council which catalysts the trade and entrepreneurship between India and the UAE. Based on the given information the UAE-India CEPA Council (UICC) was launched at the dynamic Gujarat Summit held on January 10, 2024. The aim of this initiative is to capitalize the benefits of the UAE-India Comprehensive Economic Partnership Agreement which came into effect on May 1, 2022.
“It’s quite important for us as UAE and CEPA Council doing business events and business roundtables across India. It makes a lot of sense that we engage with entrepreneurs, especially women entrepreneurs. Back in the UAE, we have 23,000 women managing USD 30 billion, and it’s not any less than that when it comes to India” said the UAE ambassador Abdulnasser Alshaali

He then highlighted the accomplishment of the many women entrepreneurs who has turned their marvelous ideas into successful businesses which is taken into the consideration while discussing the enhancement of the bilateral relationship, trade and expanding the economic trade between the two countries.
“It is going great, especially with the UAE CEPA Council, because that’s the main focus… You have to think about the fact that PM Modi is very fond of the UAE and the country’s leadership, and that naturally does give whatever that we’re doing very high momentum in terms of what we do, the engagements, meetings, high-level visits that you see between the two countries” he added.
During the closure of the interview, the UAE ambassador Alshali extolled the relationship of India and the UAE as a ‘historic and an ancient one’. He added that this bilateral tie is further driven well by the influential leader Prime Minister Narendra Modi through the people-to-people relationship.
