Sunil Chhetri, a professional Indian football player who plays as a striker and captains for Bengaluru FC as well as India.
He was born in Andhra Pradesh, India, on August 3, 1984. He has played for the national team the most times and has scored the most goals overall for the nation.

Sunil is tied with Hungarian star Ferenc Puskas for sixth place on the international scoring list with 84 goals, two goals behind seven-time Ballon d’Or winner Lionel Messi.

In 2001, Sunil Chhetri began his youth career at the City Club of New Delhi. A year later, Mohun Bagan recruited him for his first professional outing.
He left the team in 2005 and continued on his adventure, playing for many different clubs along the way, including the Portuguese club Sporting CP, where he was a member of the reserve squad.
Chhetri earned his ISL debut in 2015 with Mumbai City, who selected him as the most expensive player at the auction for rupees 1.2 crores.
