Sonu Sood takes his Covid contributions a step ahead, launches free Covid help

Actor Sonu Sood has been immensely helpful for a lot of people during the coronavirus pandemic and this time again, the actor has stepped up to help those in need by launching a free Covid-19 initiative that includes testing and consultations for those who have gotten infected.
Ever since a nationwide lockdown was announced in 2020, the actor came forward to help thousands of people go back to their homes from their workplaces and since then, he has been termed as a ‘messiah’ for those in need during the pandemic.
Initially, his help was restricted to migrant workers but as soon as his work started getting recognition and people started trusting him, Sood started expanding his wings in this department and included like minded people in this initiative. India is currently facing the second Covid-19 wave and it has been extremely brutal on people. This has again brought Sonu Sood in the centre as he continues to offer free help.

On Tuesday, the 47-year-old actor took to his Twitter handle to announce that he will be starting a free Covid-19 help initiative. This is being executed under his foundation name Sood Foundation in collaboration with Heal Well 24 and Krsnaa Diagnostics Pvt Ltd.
The country is in extremely bad shape right now. There are dearth of Oxygen cylinders, Covid-19 supplies, vaccines, medicines and ICU beds. For things like plasma or blood donations also, people have to wait for a long time before getting confirmations. These things have led celebrities and those with power and influence in their hands, step ahead for help.
Sood also has been helping those who are in urgent requirements of supplies. The Happy New year actor has been using his social media channels to amplify the requests and also help those who are reaching out to him or his foundation.
There have been over three lakh cases being reported each day in the last couple of days and that has shed the light on the failure of healthcare centers in the country. There is a massive shortage of supplies and Sonu Sood is among the few people who have stepped up to extend their help.
