Singapore Open 2022: PV Sindhu, Prannoy & Saina Nehwal Enters Quarter-Finals
In the Singapore Open 2022 the legendary shuttlers PV Sindhu, Saina Nehwal, Prannoy, Duo of Arjun Kapila all performed very well & entered into quarter-finals.
In the women’s singles competition of the Singapore Open Super 500 badminton tournament, Indian shuttler PV Sindhu, a two-time Olympic medalist, has advanced to the quarterfinals.
Thus the pre-quarterfinal round saw third seed Sindhu overcome Vietnam’s Thuy Lin Nguyen, ranked 59th in the world, 19-21, 21-19, 21-18. HS Prannoy also succeeded in advancing to the final eight at the same time.
Nguyen of Vietnam put Sindhu to the challenge, and Sindhu triumphed 21-19 in the opening match. Following this, the 2nd and 3rd games also saw a fierce rivalry between the two.

It took 1 hour & 9 minutes to complete the game. In a span of three weeks, Prannoy had defeated Chou Tien twice. In the quarterfinals, the 29-year-old will compete against Kodai Naraoka of Japan.
At the Singapore Open, Mithun Manjunath, who stunned Kidambi Srikanth in the men’s singles final round, came to an end.
Nhat Nguyen of Ireland defeated him 10-21, 21-18, and 16-21. Additionally, India’s Ashmita Chaliha, who stunned Thailand’s Busanan Ongbamrungphan in the women’s singles match, was unable to advance. Han Yuwei of China defeated her 9-21, 13-21.
Saina Nehwal, the great shuttler from India and two-time gold medallist at the Commonwealth Games. Today’s she played in a pre-quarterfinal match, she triumphed and entered into the quarter-finals.
