“Sanchar Saathi Mobile App” : Know it’s Significance and Benefits
The Union Telecom Minister Jyotiraditya Scindia has launched a mobile app named “Sanchar Saathi” which aims to deliver the benefit of using this app to flag any suspected fraud calls directly through this app and they can attach the call log while submitting their report to the Ministry which helps to sought out and track the delinquent behind this. These initiatives are taken due to the predominant official works of both the Indian government and people of India are taking place digitally. So, to prevent further fraudulent activities the Ministry of Communication has launched a new app. The portal of this app was initially launched in 2023 which was potent to crackdown the fraud calls.
Along with this mobile app two more initiatives of DoT have been launched by the Union Minister which are Vision for National Broadband Mission 2.0, and Intra Circle Roaming at Digital Bharat Nidhi funded 4G mobile sites.
“A safe and secure environment where privacy and security of each customer are safeguarded” said the Union Minister Scindia
The MoT has clarified what can be reported and tracked through this app.
- Report – Suspected fraud communication & unsolicited commercial communication/SPAM
International Call with Indian Number
- Track – lost or stolen mobile handset
Mobile connections
Wireline internet service provider
All these progressive steps taken by the Indian Government in a digital India helps to protect the common people from many digital scams which are rising globally.
