“Home Away From Home”: Saif Ali Khan Reveals Why He Bought a House in Qatar

Bollywood actor Saif Ali Khan has purchased a luxurious second home in Qatar, just three months after surviving a knife attack during a burglary attempt in Mumbai. The new property is located at St Regis Marsa Arabia Island, The Pearl, Doha.

At a press event hosted by Alfardan Group, Saif explained why he chose Qatar as his second home. He said it is a place with peace, privacy, and full of luxury to exactly what he needed. “It felt like home away from home,” he said.

Saif mentioned that he first stayed there during a work trip and immediately fell in love with the calm, the food, and the beautifully designed space. He said the location offers a great mix of comfort, safety, and aesthetics, making it ideal for family vacations. Saif added that he’s excited to take his sons, Taimur and Jeh, to visit the home soon.

The actor already owns homes in London, Gstaad, Pataudi (his ancestral palace), and Bandra, Mumbai. This new home in Qatar adds to his growing list of properties abroad.

Saif will next be seen in the Netflix thriller Jewel Thief, his first film after the knife attack in January, where he suffered injuries to his back and spent five days in the hospital.
