Russian President Putin Reveals BRICS Banknote at 16th BRICS Summit
Today is the last day of 16TH BRICS Summit, during the summit all the leaders who are attending the summit showed their strong commitment to standing strong together for a multipolar world. Russia who is the host of the event clearly stated BRICS is a strong organization to stand against the West.
According to Sputnik X handle it is declared that, at the Kazan summit, Russian President Vladimir Putin was presented with a symbolic “BRICS banknote.”
According to the Times Now reports, the head of the country’s Central Bank, Elvira Nabiullina, did not like the idea.
The report mentions that after receiving the ‘banknote’, Putin shared it with other ministers. Photos of the Russian President unveiling the currency were shared by Global Eye News on X, the platform previously known as Twitter.
At the summit in Kazan, Putin was shown a symbolic "BRICS banknote."

The note "represents the collective work being carried out within the BRICS framework."

Many reports are saying that this note could be called “the unit”. BRICS banknote will be ‘40% backed by gold and 60% backed by reserves in member currencies’, The Jerusalem Post reported.
