Ranji Trophy: Delhi Registers dominating innings victory against Railways

Togetherly, the team of Delhi exhibited their excellency both in bowling and batting against Railways on the final league match in the Group D. Delhi won the toss and they chose to bowl first and their strategy paid off with the wrap up of Railways for 241 runs. The batting lineup has been struggling to defend and smash the Delhi bowlers from the first innings; Upendra and Karn’s huge contribution from their bat aided Railways to slate the 241 runs on the scorecard.
Meanwhile, the first innings of Delhi had a lot of spotlight from everywhere as the King returned back to his home team after years. Though the dismissal of Kohli at 6 runs disappointed many of his fans, Delhi revived with an astonishing performance by Ayush Badoni who slipped away from his century with 99 runs followed by Sumit Mathur (86), Pranav Rajvanshi (39), Sanat Sangwan (30), and Yash Dhull (32). Delhi finished off with the 374 runs on board.
The second innings of Railways was choked very early with the five wicket haul of Shivam Sharma the off break bowler from Delhi. It led to the innings and 19 runs victory of Delhi.
