The BJP on Monday dubbed Rahul Gandhi as a “cuckoo” of Indian Political system as Cuckoo bird never builds her nest but reap its comfort later. This comes as the Congress party is leading criticism against the ruling BJP over the farmers’ protest which is continuing for more than 100 days now. BJP spokesperson, Sambit Patra accused Rahul Gandhi that he has spread confusion and lies among the widespread audience by posting violent videos from the peaceful gathering of farmers from the weekend.
Patra added that currently Congress is without a president. It is incapable of raising ground issues. That is why Sonia Gandhi holds virtual meetings with leaders of other parties while Rahul Gandhi relies on old photographs in his attempt to spread confusion and lies to the public.

It was clarified in the press conference that Modi government is and always has been dedicated to farmers. With their current protest going on the farmer unions is hitting out at the government and taking different sides and adding more fuel to it, Rahul Gandhi is standing as a strong opponent.
Sambit Patra cited a number of measures taken by the government, including direct transfer of over ₹1.5 lakh crore to farmers, and record procurement and payment for their produce, to make his point. Moreover, it should be noted that the survey conducted by Morning Consult, it ranked PM Modi with the highest approval rating of 70 per cent among 13 heads of governments, including Joe Biden and Boris Johnson. This enormous success was possible because of the government’s achievements, including a host of welfare measures for the poor, deprived and farmers. Congress leaders should be wary and support their arguments before making a false and baseless statement.
