Priyanka Gandhi Shows Promising Leadership Towards UP Assembly Poll 2022 Candidacy
Despite a never more than 50 percent win, Congress is putting its best foot forward with Uttar Pradesh in the forthcoming 2022 Assembly polls. It is the lovely and soft spoken lady luck Priyanka Gandhi Vadra who is going to contest in UP on behalf of the party.
Critics feel Priyanka’s leadership is collaborative and may garner more support this time for Congress. For one, she has asked party members to not be stepped aside while handling competition, but look at them as rival competition in a unified spirit.
Her appointments have been more rooted in the reality of the forthcoming 2022 elections. For this, she has chosen local politicians who have far more experience and therefore fit the role of district Congress presidents well. Further, she has been able to set up election management committees that is well balanced.
Her decision to bring a street fighter, Ajay Kumar Lallu as the UP-Congress Chief was well appreciated, as the boy rose to a stature of success despite coming from a humble background. Priyanka Gandhi is seen as more ‘people’s person’ and more approachable unlike her brother Rahul Gandhi. She has reported worked her way into the hearts of people by placing current emotions in focus.
