PM Modi gave digital house keys to 75,000 beneficiaries across UP

Uttar Pradesh – India Prime Minister Narendra Modi gave digital house keys to 75,000 beneficiaries across the state. It is note worthy that 80 per cent of the ownership for houses being given under PM Awas Yojana is being given to women, or they are being made joint-owners.
This event happened at Urban Conclave held in Uttar Pradesh’s Lucknow today, digitally all the digital keys were handed over. Furthermore, in Uttar Pradesh, on the registry of houses worth Rs 10 lakh, women are also being given a 2 percent discount on stamp duty.
Organised by the ministry of housing and urban affairs (MoHUA) as part of ‘Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav, the expo also celebrated transforming the urban landscape. The aim of the expo was specific on Clean Urban India, Water Secure Cities, Housing For All, New Construction Technologies, Smart City Development, Sustainable Mobility and Cities Promoting Livelihood Opportunities.
