PM Modi Addresses the Strength of Young Power at 18th Pravasi Bharatiya Divas Convention
PM Modi landed Bhubaneswar on Thursday to participate in the grand inauguration of the Pravasi Bharatiya Express and to address the people who have gathered for the 18th Pravasi Bharatiya Divas Convention. The theme of this event is “Diaspora’s Contribution to a Viksit Bharat”. A new inauguration song which was played during this event has been lauded by PM Modi and he ensured that this song will be played throughout the world in every event held for diaspora. H.E.Christine Carla Kangaloo, the President of the Republic of Trinidad & Tobago is the Chief guest who appeared virtually to this event was warmly greeted by the Prime Minister Modi and thanked her for an impactful speech.
While commencing his energetic speech PM Modi praised the land of Odisha as “The Great land of Odisha, where we have gathered, is a reflection of India’s rich heritage”. He then remarked about the historical and traditional sites of Odisha which stands as the symbol of deeply rooted heritage of India.
“For many decades to come, India will remain a country with the world’s most young and skilled population. India will fulfil the world’s demand for skilled talent India” he added.
Following him, the Chief Minister of Odisha Mohan Charan Majhi further highlighted the rich cultural heritage of his state and the people who consistently contribute for the development of the state. He expressed his gratitude to the government of India for selecting ‘Odisha’ as the 18th Pravasi Bharatiya Divas.
