Pakistanis Call Out to Elon Musk: “We Need Starlink!”

Our neighbor is not well…! We all know every day Pakistan is fighting with some political tragedy, economic pressure, world power pressure and internal politics are on high. In between these internet issue, freedom of voices is another issue, very recently Pakistanis are flooding X (formerly Twitter) with appeals to Elon Musk urging him to deploy Starlink in the Pakistan. Using hashtags like #StarlinkForPakistan and #ElonMuskXBaninPakistan, citizens highlight severe internet shutdowns and restrictions on platforms like X.

One viral tweet by a citizen reads:

“Hey @elonmusk, Pakistan is under the worst dictatorship. All rights and liberties have been suspended. @X is banned, and the internet gets shut down every other day. Pakistan Needs Starlink!”

Starlink the satellite of SpaceX internet service could offer a lifeline to bypass government censorship and restore connectivity. The growing demand puts the spotlight on Musk, as Pakistanis seek digital freedom amidst an escalating crisis.
