Over 100 Delegates To Participate In Science20 Summit At Isha Yoga Center
The Isha Foundation is hosting a Science20 (S20) Summit at its Yoga Center in Coimbatore, India. The summit will be attended by over 100 delegates from 20 countries, including academicians, scientists, experts, and policy makers.
The meeting will take place from July 21 to July 22, 2023. The S20 Summit is part of the G20 engagement groups and aims to foster an official dialogue with the scientific community.
During the summit, the delegates will have a special interactive session with Sadhguru, the founder of Isha Foundation.
The S20 group has previously discussed themes such as Green Energy, Connecting Science with Society, and Holistic Health, and will present a joint communique from 20 nations on these topics.
Sadhguru expressed his appreciation for the G20 meetings being held in different places, including spiritual centers like the Isha Yoga Center, as it allows people to experience India’s culture and heritage.
Upon their arrival, the delegates will receive a traditional welcome with garlands, drums, and flower petals. They will also be introduced to the ancient technologies of well-being at the iconic 112-feet Adiyogi, the first Yogi.
As part of the cultural extravaganza, the delegates will witness performances of classical Indian martial arts, Kalaripayattu, and classical Indian dance, Bharatanatyam, by the Isha Samskriti students.
They will also be taken on a guided tour of the Isha Yoga Center, which includes consecrated spaces like the Dhyanalinga and the abode of Linga Bhairavi Devi.
The Isha Yoga Center, founded by Sadhguru, offers all four major paths of yoga – kriya (energy), gyana (knowledge), karma (action), and bhakti (devotion) – to foster inner transformation and well-being in individuals.
