The Oppo brand has officially unveiled the Oppo Reno 16 and Oppo Reno 16c in India, adding to its existing range of premium mid-end smartphones. The two devices come with AMOLED display panels, AI cameras, bigger batteries, and fast charging technology up to 80W. Whereas the Oppo Reno 16 will be seen as a premium device with the presence of a Snapdragon processor and enhanced cameras, the Oppo Reno 16c is all about affordable pricing.

Starting price of Oppo Reno 16 with 8GB + 256GB configuration is ₹61,999, whereas its 12GB + 256GB version costs ₹67,999. Colour options include Starry White, Stellar Purple, and Twilight Violet.
Oppo Reno 16c Price in India
There are three different versions of the Oppo Reno 16c with respect to storage capacity. While the 8GB + 128GB comes for Rs. 46,999, the 8GB + 256GB and the 12GB + 256GB version cost Rs. 49,999 and Rs. 55,999 respectively. It comes in the same three colours as the Reno 16 model

These two smartphones will be available for purchase in India starting from 9th July 2026 through Amazon, Flipkart, Oppo India’s website, and authorized retail stores. There will also be a special offer of instant cashback for selected SBI and HDFC Bank Cards and others during the launch sale.

The Oppo Reno 16 has a screen size of 6.32 inches with an AMOLED screen type, which is rated at 120Hz screen refresh rate and peak brightness of 3,500 nits, making it one of the brightest screens in its category. The Oppo Reno 16c, on the other hand, has a screen size of 6.57 inches with an AMOLED screen type and 120Hz screen refresh rate but with peak brightness of 1,400 nits.
Both devices have premium design and are dust/water resistant with IP66, IP68, IP69, and IP69K ratings.
Performance and Software
For the Oppo Reno 16 model, Oppo has chosen the Qualcomm Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 mobile platform, which comes with up to 12GB LPDDR5X RAM and 256GB UFS 3.1 internal storage. Notably, Oppo has picked this particular chip instead of the MediaTek chip that powers its Chinese counterpart.
The Oppo Reno 16c comes with the MediaTek Dimensity 7300 SoC and up to 12GB RAM and 256GB storage. The two models run on the Android 16-based ColorOS 16 software and feature many AI-driven functionalities.
Camera Features
The photographic capabilities of the device are among the most notable elements in the Reno 16 line-up.
The Oppo Reno 16 is provided with a triple-camera array that comprises a 50 MP Sony LYT-600 main sensor equipped with OIS, a 50 MP ultra-wide-angle camera, and a 50 MP telephoto camera. There is also a 50 MP front-facing camera.
The Reno 16c has a 50 MP main camera and a 50 MP front-facing camera, but instead of the 50 MP ultra-wide-angle sensor, there is an 8 MP ultra-wide-angle camera.

Improved battery capacity is yet another big difference. The Reno 16 features a huge 6,700mAh battery, while the Reno 16c sports a bigger 7,000mAh battery. Both phones have the ability to charge fast with a 80W SUPERVOOC charging capacity.
