Noida Metro To Link New Delhi Railway Station To Cut Travel Time
Noida Metro is going to be linked with New Delhi Railway Station. This new metro-railway line will cut travel time between Jewar Airport & IGI Airport.
On Tuesday, the Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC) met with the Yamuna Authority to discuss a direct metro line linking Greater Noida and New Delhi Railway Station. The line will run for 37 km.
This line will connect Greater Noida to Delhi’s Indira Gandhi international Airport. It is connected via a direct line from New Delhi Metro Station.
The Yamuna Authority and DMRC entered into a contract for the development of a DPR on the proposed project.
This track will be laid separately. It will link the Knowledge Park metro station to New Delhi Railway Station.
DMRC has prepared the DPR for the Knowledge Park Station line’s link to the Noida International Airport at Jewar. The project has been approved by the authorities.
Authorities will also receive the proposal for the Knowledge Park-New Delhi Railway Station Metro Line’s Inception Report.
The proposed line could connect Jewar Airport to the IGI airport via New Delhi Airport. People can check in for their flights on this line.
Each day thousands of people travel via the metro to Noida and other stations to reach the airport.
The distance between the stations will be covered in less than an hour once the corridor has been constructed. The new route will take you to around 11 stations.

This elevated platform will allow for 34 km of the line. These stations will be located so that they can be integrated into the existing Delhi-Noida route. The proposal must be submitted no later than 31 March 2023.
NMRC and the DMRC are expanding rapidly in the NCR. The Centre recently approved a project linking Greater Noida West to the Noida metro.
Noida will soon have an expressway parallel to it, which will connect Noida Botanical Garden Station and Sector 142.
