Makers of Shehzad come in his defense of Kartik Aaryan after an allegation of the producer
Kartik Aaryan was accused of threatening to walk out of the movie if the movie was released in theaters. The movie being talked about here is Shehzada, which is Hindi version of the hit Telugu movie Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo starring Allu Arjun.
The movie was scheduled to release in theaters on January 26 but the producer of the movie, Manish Shah, alleged that Kartik Aaryan threatened to quit Shehzadaa if the movie was released in theaters.
The actor was defended by Bhushan Kumar of T-Series who said, “We, the producers, felt that Shehzada should release in theaters first and not the Hindi version of Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo.”
This was the reason why the team requested Goldmines not release the Hindi dubbed version of the telugu movie in theaters, explained Kumar. He also stated that the release of the movie is entirely the call of the producer and the actor has nothing to do with it.
Not just Bhushan Kumar but the director of Shehzada, Rohit Dhawan, also came out in support of the actor saying that he has known Kartik since the time he started his career and he is one of the most professional actors that he has worked with.
He also added that Kartik is very much excited for Shehzada and despite having worked with him in multiple projects, it was yet again a joyful experience. Fans are eagerly waiting for the movie to release as it is not only going to be a delight for the actor’s fans but also for Kartik himself as it is one of his most anticipated movies. Fans are waiting for him in the shoes of Allu Arjun and Kartik too has been keeping his fans on toes by sharing pictures from sets.
