Gujarat Titans are going to roar that much louder in IPL 2025 and with their new buy, Karim Janat, they might really have found just that X-factor they were searching for all while. The Afghan all-rounder made his debut on an important day against the Rajasthan Royals; adding new life to Shubman Gill’s side.

Who is Karim Janat?
An influential cricketer who was born on August 11, 1998, in Kabul, and is viewed as a hard-hitting batsman and handy medium-pace bowler. He made his international debut in 2016, with a straight dive in an exemplary match-winning score against the UAE.
He has, by now, been able to play 67 T20 internationals, with close to -700 runs, and picked up his 42 wickets over the course of his career. He combines an aggressive approach to batting with the ability to break partnerships with the ball; hence, he is quite a good package for T20. The record does not just stop there; he also boasts of a potent first-class record averaging over 50 — proof of maintaining consistency.

And, of course the Sawai Mansingh Stadium had to have Janat in their arsenal for Gujarat’s attack against an already strong unit. At the toss, Gill said that they would have preferred to bowl first, and the pitch looked quite nice for the ball with Janat’s inclusion, all part of the plan to keep going hard in this high-pressure format.
