IT Ministry orders probe into Priyanka Gandhi’s allegation ‘ my kids Insta account hacked’
The IT (Information Technology) Ministry has taken suo motu cognisance of Congress General Secretary Priyanka Gandhi Vadra’s allegation that the government had hacked the Instagram accounts of her children. The Ministry has ordered a probe into the allegation and it will be investigated by the government’s agency.
On Tuesday, Priyanka Gandhi Vadra alleged that her children’s Instagram accounts had been hacked by the government. She repeatedly slammed the government and accused them of invading their privacy. While referring to Akhilesh Yadav’s phone tapping allegation against Yogi Adityanath, she said, “They’re even hacking my children’s Instagram accounts, let alone phone tapping. Do they not have any other work?” In Lucknow, she was addressing the press conference.
Who will probe the Congress leades’ allegations?
According to India TV, the Ministry’s advanced anti-cybercrime unit is going to probe Congress leader Priyanka Gandhi’s allegations against the government. Earlier, Yogi Adityanath was accused by Akhilesh Yadav. The SP (Samajwadi Party) chief said that his telephones were getting tapped and Yogi Adityanath listened to the recordings of his conversations every evening. His remarks came after the Income Tax department conducted raids and searches at some SP leaders’ offices and residences. The SP government slammed the UP government for doing dirty politics. Political rift is going ahead of the election.
