Instagram users can now ‘Remix’ their video on reels feature
Popular social media platform Instagram will now let you ‘Remix’ as a public video on the platform via its popular feature of reels. The new feature was launched last year in April for Reels and as per some of the experts, it has been copied by TikTok.
TikTok is still banned in India but the application is widely famous worldwide and is hugely profitable in markets like the United States and other North American regions. The feature is so similar that the video posted on Tik Tok does not even need to be edited to be posted on Instagram.
The application which is now owned by Facebook, which is also known as Meta, made the announcement on Twitter. The feature of remixing will now let the user create a new video in collaboration with the existing ones on the platform.

Other than that, some of the influencers and creators will also be seen featuring with this platform so that it can be promoted further. It will give an opportunity to the followers of these content creators to remix a video with them.
However, the social media platform also made it clear that it will not affect the video that has previously been posted prior to the launch of premises. If you want to try this feature, then you can start by choosing your favorite Reel or video on the platform. When you click on the three dots on the upper right corner of eligible videos, you will find an option called ‘Remix this video’ by clicking on which you can see the original video, and your camera will turn on to the other side.
