India scores 12 more shortlists at Cannes Lions 2022
India made its mark on Cannes Lions International Festival of Creativity. There are now 12 more Indian shortlists in Health & Wellness and Radio & Audio Lions.
India garnered 12 further shortlists in two categories, bringing the total to 17, capping up an outstanding showing at the Cannes Lions Festival of Creativity 2022.
The Dentsu Creative Gurgaon project, “The Unfiltered History Tour,” which has been shortlisted in 7 sub-categories for the Radio & Audio Lions, stands out the most.

The campaign will compete for the coveted Lions in the categories of Corporate Purpose & Social Responsibility, Market Disruption, Audio-led Creativity, Branded Content/Podcasts, Use of Radio or Audio as a Medium, Media/Entertainment, and Cultural Insight. For the Radio & Audio Lions, India submitted a total of 17 entries.
India didn’t participate in the Pharma, Print & Publishing, or Outdoor categories, though.
But the following five shortlists were for the Health & Wellness Lions category, which had 92 entries and was also the most popular with the Indian contingent.
Two shortlists were made for Leo Burnett’s ‘The Missing Chapter’ for P&G’s Whisper Sanitary Pads in the OTC Products/Devices as well as Brand-led Education & Awareness divisions.
The “Killer Pack” by VMLY&R Mumbai for Maxx Flash made another shortlist under “OTC Products/Devices.”
