India Makes Strategic Changes for Crucial Third Test Against Australia in Brisbane
Indian captain Rohit Sharma wins the toss and opts for bowl. The match will be the final cricket match that will decide the fate of one of the most exciting cricket matches as both the teams are tied 1-1. India also made two more changes in their playing XI for this match they included Jadeja and Akash Deep replacing Ashwin and Rana.
Overcast conditions and a green wicket swaying right before the batting line played a big role in Sharma’s decision to bowl first with early moisture and ideal bowling conditions. Regarding this Sharma said, ‘We want to make the best use of these conditions’, The team is very tactical. Australia responded in kind and made a similar change of thinking by bringing back Josh Hazlewood into the team following a side strain, replacing Scott Boland.
Both captains agreed that the series thus far has been highly competitive, and Sharma said his dressing room came alive, adding that they would be ready to seize moments that were missed in the close loss.
