PM Narendra Modi is on a 3-day foreign tour to attend the G7 Summit in Germany where he addressed the Indian community. He talked about Indian democracy.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi is on a three-day foreign tour. He has reached Germany to attend the G7 summit to be held on 26 and 27 June.
The partner will also visit the United Arab Emirates (UAE) on June 28. During this, Modi addressed a program of the Indian community in Munich.
Starting his statement with the Emergency of 1975, the Prime Minister said that 47 years ago today at the same time an attempt was made to take the democracy hostage, to crush the democracy.
Democracy Is In The DNA Of Every Indian
Prime Minister Modi addressed an Indian community in Muich, Germany and said,
“Today is known for another reason. Democracy which is our pride, which democracy is in the DNA of every Indian, at this time 47 years ago, trying to hold that democracy hostage, crush democracy.”
Emergency: A Dark Spot In Indian Democratic History
PM Modi said that the period of Emergency is like a dark spot in the Vibrant Democratic history of India, but on this dark spot the superiority of the centuries-old democratic traditions also triumphed with full force, democratic traditions prevailed over these antics.
India Is The Mother Of Democracy
PM Narendra Modi said in Germany,
“The people of India gave the answer to all the conspiracies to crush democracy, in a democratic way.
We Indians, wherever we live, take pride in our democracy. Every Indian proudly says, India is the Mother of Democracy!”
