IMD Issues Yellow Warning to the Freezing Districts of Odisha
The frosty winter season continues to grow stronger predominantly in the northern regions of India, which intervenes and alters the routine of the people. On Monday, both the State meteorological department and IMD issued yellow warning to some of the districts of Odisha. A resolute cold wave with low temperature and continued chill will be experienced in Jharsuguda, Sundargarh, and Angul from 15.12.2024 to 17.12.2024 (Sunday to Tuesday).
This weather is expected to remain in the next 24 hours in all these districts and other regions might encounter temperatures around 23 degree celsius.

In addition to this, Sanjeev Dwivedi of the state meteorological department of Odisha has announced that there is a chance of light rainfall in Puri, Ganjam, Gajapati, Rayagada, and Koraput on December 17, 2024.
