Harbhajan Singh’s unexpected disclosure about his current relationship with MS Dhoni
Indian Cricket history has witnessed many shaggy, shallow, and rivalry relationships between players both on and off the field. MS Dhoni who is praised as the “Coolest Captain of Indian Cricket” has been rumoured to have many shaggy relationships with his fellow cricket players including Yuvaraj Singh, Sehwag, Gautam Gambir and Harbhajan Singh.
In a recent interview for Sports Next, the former Indian Spinner and IPL star player, who is nicknamed as “Bhajji”, Harbhajan Singh has revealed his current relationship with MS Dhoni.
“No, I don’t speak to Dhoni. When I was playing at CSK, that’s when we spoke, but otherwise, we haven’t spoken. It’s been 10 years and more. I have no reason; perhaps he does. I don’t know what the reasons are. When we were playing in the IPL at CSK, that’s when we used to talk, and that, too, was restricted to the ground. After that, he did not come to my room, nor did I go to his.”
He also added that his attempts to contact and to have conversation with Dhoni was unsuccessful. He said there was no reply from his side so he refrained himself from him.
“I don’t have anything against him…… I only ring up those who pick up my calls. I don’t have the time otherwise. I stay in touch with the ones I am friends with. A relationship is always about give and take. If I respect you, I hope you will respect me back. Or you respond to me.” he continued.
It is significant that both MS Dhoni and Harbhajan have been in the Play XI of 2011 World Cup team and in the IPL franchise CSK for three years from 2018 to 2020.
