GTA 6 Gameplay Videos Get Leaked, Hacker Threatens For More
More than 90 video clips of GTA 6 have been leaked online. A GTA forum user ‘teapotuberhacker’ has claimed that they were behind this leak.
After more than 90 gameplay videos for Grand Theft Auto 6, a game that Rockstar Games is currently developing, were leaked on various social media sites on Sunday, it’s possible that games executives must be worried.
GTAForums user “teapotuberhacker” allegedly claimed responsibility for the leak, which originated from a test version of GTA 6. The caption of the post, which has since been removed,
“From GTA 6, here are 90 snippets and videos. I might soon release additional information, including GTA 5 and 6 source code, assets, and a testing version of GTA 6.”
The revelation that Rockstar Studios is working around the clock to remove the gameplay videos from YouTube as well as other social media platforms speaks volumes about the veracity of the recordings.
In one of the leaked movies, a player character named Lucia and her accomplice Jason rob a waffle shop in classic Grand Theft Auto fashion.
Since Rockstar revealed that GTA 6 is being developed, there have been rumors that the game will have a male and female character.
Several online users asserted that it was Rockstar’s parody of the Bonnie and Clyde narrative.
Additionally, the NPC interactions, vehicles, and other items are reminiscent of GTA 5.
It seems sense that the leaked footage has an older aesthetic given that GTA 5 was released in 2013 and there have been rumors of a new game in the works since 2014.
The leak may cause Rockstar to postpone the game’s release because it is still far away from being finished.
According to some experts, the leak will compel Rockstar to stop allowing its developers to work from home, which could temporarily halt the development process.
Nearly ten years after the release of its previous incarnation, GTA V, the game is still one of the best-selling AAA titles worldwide.
The firm had concentrated its efforts on creating Red Dead Redemption 2 and GTA V’s online functionality.
Rockstar is totally focused on its flagship project, despite the fact that both of these goods have been available to the general public for a number of years and have enjoyed some degree of success.
The fans, however, are thrilled that they now have something to enjoy until the game or its official trailer is published after so many years of little to no information.
