Greatest of All Time (GOAT) Storyline:
GOAT is focused on Gandhi, the main character with exceptional skills who is a director of a team of special agents. Not only they are colleagues, but they are also friends to each other. Gandhi and his team defend themselves from the bad guys so as to protect the people. At home, Gandhi and his wife who is referred to as Anu gets irritated with the interruption of his work.
The movie begins with an action scene in which the audience gets an idea of how Gandhi is. At the beginning, one gets the impression that all is well in the team, members are even joking around at the workplace. But then something really bad happens and that is the end of the story.
Final Thoughts
The film’s total collection in India is around ₹162 crore. It crosses the ₹25 crore mark within 6 days. The opening weekend was very encouraging special in Tamil regions but from Monday there has been significant decline in the earnings.
Venkat Prabhu pointed out that the movie has low attractiveness in other regions of India apart from Tamil Nadu. He said that the climax scene which involves the CSK (Chennai Super Kings) might have influenced it.
Looking at the top markets, the GOAT has done its best in Tamil Nadu and comparatively less in Hindi and Telugu zones. Tuesday (Day 6) of the filming was overall rated 33. 43% occupancy was recorded for Tamil shows.
