Govinda promises to keep ‘graceful distance’: After comedian Krushna Abhishek backed out of a show because he wanted to avoid facing his uncle and famous bollywood actor Govinda, the latter took to social media to clear the whole picture and spoke about taking a distance from the comedians family.
The 37-year-old comedian said while talking about the reason for him to opt-out of the show that he loves the actor too much to face him right now with the tensions between the two.
On the other hand, Govinda released a statement saying that he was utterly sad on hearing that his nephew will not be performing in his presence. He also said that the time has come that people must know what is the truth in the whole incident.
The Partner actor revealed while talking to spotboye that he indeed went to meet the twins of the couple in 2017. He explained that he went along with his family and met those handling the kids. He accused Kashmera, Givinda’s wife, for not allowing him to meet the kids. “I strongly feel Krushna doesn’t know of this incident.”
He said, “Be it Krushna or Kashmira – I have been a scapegoat of their defamatory comments and statements against me frequently – most of them in the media and some in the shows and performances that they do. I do not understand why is this slander being done repetitively and what is it that they are gaining from the same. I strongly believe that washing dirty linen in public is an indication of insecurity and allows outsiders to take advantage of a family’s misunderstandings.”
The family feud caught fire earlier this year and now has come into full-swing with both the sides releasing public statements. Yesterday, Kashmera Shah posted a picture along with her child which many believe was meant for Govinda after his statements against Krushna.
In a loving message for her child she expressed her pain in seeing her kids in pain while adding that those who use you for their personal agenda, I will never let them get to you.
The whole incident was once again started when Krushna blamed the actor for not being there for the family when their kids were fighting for life. In an interview, Krushna said that he attempted to get in touch with him but was disappointed to see that all his efforts went in vain; however, Govinda maintains that he indeed visited the hospital.
In June this year, Govind and his wife released a statement saying that there is no way the two families can reconcile as their differences are way apart. It was when Kashmera and Govinda threw their kids a birthday bash but the actor and his family were missing from the scene. Sunita later revealed that they were not invited to the party despite making attempts to amend their thoughts and feelings about each other.
