You must have enjoyed Kunal Khemu’s last film ‘Lootcase’. He is back again in & as ‘Kanjoos Makhichoos’. It will be direct-to-digital released on 24th March on ZEE5.
In the 2020 movie Lootcase, Kunal Khemu played a member of the lower middle class. He is now returning with a new movie called Kanjoos Makhichoos.
The movie’s trailer, which debuted on Monday, portrayed Kunal as a notorious miser with a variety of methods for hoarding every dime. Piyush Mishra, Alka Amin, and Shweta Tripathi play him and his wife, respectively, in the movie.
The teaser demonstrates how his family is sick of his frugal ways, but they eventually discover that he was saving money to take his parents on a journey.
Nevertheless, Kunal loses his cool as the middlemen syphon off a percentage of the payout as his parents disappear and the government declares compensation for their family. He vows to fight back against the crooked system since he is outraged by the cheating.
“Kanjoos Makhichoos is the sort of movie that I would love to watch with my family since it is a complete mass entertainment,” actor Kunal Khemu stated when discussing the movie.
It is filled with just the right amount of drama, humor, plot twists, a touching message, and entertainment.
I really enjoyed working with my fellow performers and the entire team because of the positive environment on set. I have no doubt that my supporters’ families will like this movie.
Kanjoos Makhichoos is the tale of a Lucknow-based, middle-class family of simpletons, according to director Vipul Mehta. The characters are sympathetic and believable, and the plot takes a very realistic approach.
The humor portrayed in the movie is also quite genuine. Our movie is centered on the tale of a joint, close-knit family in this era of nuclear metropolitan families.
Jamnaprasad, the main character, is a miser, and the viewers will be won over by his miserly tendencies. My relationship with Zee has been long-lasting overall, starting with my first show Koshish Ek Aasha and continuing with the release of my first Hindi feature, Kanjoos Makhichoos, on the network today.
The comedy-drama, which was written and directed by Vipul Mehta, features Rajiv Gupta, the late Raju Srivastav, Kunal Khemu, Shweta Tripathi, Piyush Mishra, Alka Amin, and Piyush Mishra. On March 24, ZEE5 will offer a direct-to-digital distribution of the movie.
