Delhi Assembly Elections Update: EC Announces the Official Polling and Result Dates 

All the political parties are buckling up for the final execution of their field work to seal their spots in the respective polls with consistent campaigns and press meets. On January 7,2025 (Tuesday) the Election Commission of India arranged a press meet and the Chief Election Commissioner Rajiv Kumar announced the official poll and result dates for the 2025 Delhi Assembly and Bye-elections.

Election & Counting

• Polling Date – February 5,2025
• Date of Counting – February 8, 2025

Lists of Voters 

• Total no.of Registered Voters – 1.55 Crore
• Male Voters – 83.49 lakhs
• Female Voters – 71.74 lakhs
• Third-gender Voters – 1,261
• First time voters – 2.08 lakhs
• Young Voters – 25.89 lakhs

 Both the first time voters and young voters play a crucial role in the final results of the assembly polls.

Nomination & Withdrawal Date

• Date of Notification – January 10, 2025
• Last date for Nominations – January 17, 2025
• Scrutiny of Nominations – January 18, 2025
• Last for the Withdrawal of Nominations – January 20, 2025
