Bilateral Growth: Dr. S. Jaishankar Inaugurates Symbiosis Campus in Dubai
Indian External Affairs Minister S. Jaishankar were on the visit to UAE on 14 November 2024. According to the official press release by the ministry it was his tenth visit to the UAE since 2019.
Consulate General of India in Dubai posted on X, “External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar arrived in the UAE for an official visit. Looking forward to further strengthening bilateral ties and enhancing cooperation between our nations.”
The foreign ministers of the UAE and External Affairs Minister of India Dr. S. Jaishankar I met to strengthen the relationship between their countries. They discussed ways to build on their long history of cooperation aiming to deepen ties and support growth in both nations.
After the meeting S.Jaishankar shared an updated on their X platform. He also invited HH Abdullah Bin Zayed Al Nahyan to visit India.
During this visit S.Jaishankar and HE Sheikh Nahyan Bin Mubarak Al Nahyan, Minister of Tolerance and Co-existence jointly inaugurated Symbiosis International University, Dubai campus and visited to the Bharat Mart. Indian minister also visited to the BAPS Hindu Mandir.
The meeting was also focused about the “Comprehensive Strategic Partnership,” to boost the economic and strategic cooperation. This partnership aims to help both countries achieve development goals and bring sustainable prosperity to their people.
The ministers of India and UAE talked about the regional and international issues and showed their commitment to work together on the global stage. Both sides agreed that their partnership is important for shared development and mutual benefits. The meeting reflects their dedication to exploring more opportunities for cooperation, particularly in economic growth and cultural exchange to benefit future generations.
This meeting strengthens the UAE-India partnership. Currently India and UAE is working together on several platforms like BRICS, I2U2 (India-Israel-UAE-USA), and the UAE-France-India (UFI) Trilateral, among others. In 2022 they signed CEPA agreement, and during the time of BJP government ties is growing. President Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed also visited to India multiple time, as in 2016, 2017, G20 summit, and in January 2024, he visited Gujarat to attend the 10th Vibrant Gujarat Global Summit as the Chief Guest.
