Bengal SSC Scam: 51 Crore Cash Found In Arpita Mukherjee’s Flat, 100 Cr Expected
Arpita Mukherjee is the associate of West Bengal Industries Minister Partha Chatterjee. ED Officials raided her flat & found 21+30 Crore Cash, total can be 100+ crore.
A sizable sum of money was also found in Arpita Mukherjee’s apartment in Rathtala, Bengalia, an assistant to Industries Minister Partha Chatterjee who was detained in connection with the Bengal teacher scandal.
According to reports, the ED has so far found 30 crore in cash in addition to 2 crore rupee gold bars, 78 lakh rupees worth of jewelry, and 54 lakh rupees worth of foreign currency.
Earlier, Arpita’s Tollygunge apartment received Rs 21 crore. The ED is concerned that the recruiting scam may be worth more than 100 crores.

The ED has sealed one of Arpita Mukherjee’s two Belghoria apartments after recovering such a significant sum of money from her.
Arpita is close to WB Min Partha Chatterjee. There is a notice posted that lists his name with a Rs 11,819 maintenance payment due. Both yesterday and today, 20 crore rupees were retrieved from his home.
When ED investigators entered Arpita Mukherjee’s home earlier on Wednesday afternoon to conduct an investigation, they were shocked to discover a mountain of cash.
It was predicted that the total amount of this scam would exceed 100 crores based on the manner the machines were called to count the money. More than this is being asserted by those who say.
4 Cash Counting Machines
The ED seized a significant quantity of cash during a raid on Arpita Mukherjee’s home on Wednesday.
Mukherjee is a secretary to Industries Minister Partha Chatterjee, who was arrested in the Bengal teacher scam case. To count the notes, four machines were called.
It has been reported that the money-counting machines ordered are quite cutting-edge. A machine is said to be able to count between three and six lakh rupees every minute.
5 Bankers To Count The Cash
The ED quickly contacted the bank and requested officials to count the money after receiving the money, at which point 5 bankers were summoned to count cash.

Five bankers have reportedly already arrived at the location and begun counting the money, according to the media reports.
14 ED Officials On The Spot
The moment the ED officials entered Arpita Mukherjee’s apartment after picking the lock and beginning the inquiry, they were astounded to find the mountain of cash.
They promptly alerted the ED’s highest executives. The Joint Director level officials and other officers arrived at the apartment right away. There are now 14 ED officers on the spot.
