Arunachal Pradesh government signs Bollywood actor Sanjay Dutt as brand ambassador for 50th-year celebrations
Arunachal Pradesh– The government of Arunachal Pradesh has signed Bollywood actor Sanjay Dutt as the brand ambassador on the occasion of the 50th-year celebrations of the naming of the state. The announcement was made by Chief Minister Pema Khandu and Speaker Pasang Sona Dorjee at a function in the presence of Sanjay Dutt and filmmaker Rahul Mittra. According to a report by The Economic Times, the month-long event will culminate on 20th February 2022 at Itanagar during the 36th Statehood Day celebrations.
Sanjay Dutt wrote about this news on his Twitter account. He wrote, “Very honoured to be appointed as the Brand Ambassador for the Government of Arunachal! Looking forward to shooting a media campaign with @rahulmittra13 to celebrate 50 years of statehood! Thank you CM @PemaKhanduBJP Ji & Assembly Speaker @pasang_sona Ji for the grand welcome!”

As per the report, actor Sanjay Dutt kicked off the media campaign for the month-long celebrations, from 20th January to 20th February 2022, commemorating the birth of Arunachal Pradesh as an identity. Arunachal Pradesh came into existence as a Union Territory on 20th January 1972.
