Former CM Mulayam Singh Yadav’s daughter-in-law Aparna Yadav has joined Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), much to the discomfort of Akhilesh Yadav from the Samajwadi Party (SP). Rumors goes that a few others from the Yadav family will be seen moving their chairs into the saffron side. Political analysts say this is a ‘payback’ tactic been taken on by BJP after SP poached some of the saffron sides.
This includes three Yogi ministers – Swami Prasad Maurya, Dara Singh Chauhan, and Dharam Singh –along with a dozen sitting BJP MLAs that switched sides to the SP.
Now, lady movement comes days after BJP seemed to be furious over back-to-back exits of these ministers and party MLAs.
