As the teaser of Adiurush launched, people started boycotting it too like other Bollywood movies. But do you know #BoycottAdiPurush is trending all over social media?
Watching good triumph over evil on TV never fails to lift our spirits. The idea behind movies is also that the hero always eliminates the enemy and puts an end to him.
This conflict between right and wrong will always be honored, just as we do every year during the Dussehra festival when we commemorate Lord Rama’s victory over Lankeshwar Ravana.
Many actors sought to portray the role of Ravana in movies where the hero killed Ravana and showed the triumph of good over evil during this period.
Saif Ali Khan would portray the character of Ravana in the movie Adi Purush, and the teaser for the movie came out. Regarding Saif Ali Khan’s portrayal of the character in the movie, there has been a lot of debate.
People claim that the Mughal emperor was the inspiration for his appearance in the movie, and that he does not in any way resemble Ravana. After that, the hashtag #BoycottAdiPurush became popular on Twitter.
Many actors have already portrayed Ravana in the movie before this one like Amit Trivedi, Amrish Puri and many more but no one has disrespected this much.
Since the teaser for Prabhas‘ upcoming movie “Adipurush,” was out, controversy has begun. Some are making fun of the graphics while others are criticizing the character’s attire.
Narottam Mishra, the home minister for Madhya Pradesh, has now voiced concerns about how Ravana and Hanuman portray in the movie. He has issued a warning to cut the contentious sequences from the movie.
Narottam Mishra said that many people are making movies about Hindu gods and goddesses that are controversial.
The motives of such persons are questionable. He claimed that these people target only Hindu God & religion. Every possible thing is displayed in the name of creativity.
Hanuman is shown wearing robes made of leather. They have manipulated the Gods’ attires. Such divisive scenes ought to be cut from the movie.
Narottam Mishra announced that he will write a letter to the film’s director asking him to cut all offensive parts from the production.
