Malavika Mohanan Calls Her Telugu Debut ‘The Raja Saab’ A Milestone, Says Working With Prabhas Was A Fantastic Experience
Actress Malavika Mohanan is all set to make her Telugu debut with The Raja Saab, where she stars opposite Prabhas. In an exclusive chat with NDTV, Malavika shared her excitement about the film and what it feels like to work with the Baahubali star.
Malavika said that the film is very special to her because it’s her first time exploring the horror-comedy genre. “The Raja Saab is such a unique project. I’ve never done horror-comedy before, and that really interested me. It’s going to be fun for the audience because it has both suspense and humor,” she said.
Talking about Prabhas, Malavika called him a superstar and praised his humble nature. “Working with Prabhas is a milestone for me. He’s a huge star, but so grounded. His energy and dedication are inspiring. It’s been a fantastic experience working with him,” she added.
Malavika said, “I pick roles that feel fresh and give me something new to explore”.
Reflecting on her journey, Malavika said the biggest lesson she’s learned is to be patient. “Things don’t happen overnight, and that’s okay. Staying grounded and focused on your work is what really matters,” she shared.
The Raja Saab also stars Sanjay Dutt, Anupam Kher, Varalaxmi Sarathkumar, Yogi Babu, and Jisshu Sengupta in important roles. The film is set to release on April 10, 2025.
