Bangalore-based Kempegowda International Airport (KIA) made history as its new Terminal 2 (T2) gets the coveted 5-Star Airport Terminal Rating from Skytrax first terminal in India to get this international accolade.

The Skytrax is best known for international benchmarks in aviation that carry out top ratings in the standard audit conducted across more than 800 checkpoints among 30 categories. It comprises cleanliness and safety, as well as terminal design with digital facilities, agencies, hospitality, inclusivity, and sustainability. T2 was ISO approved with a world-class experience-from travel clients having amazing facilities.
“We appreciate our passengers, partners, and all employees who made it possible,” said Hari Marar, Managing Director and CEO, BIAL.
