YouTube Allows Creators To Respond Comments Via Shorts
Google-owned YouTube is going to launch a new feature for the creators. The feature will allow content creators to respond to their fans’ comments with Shorts.
Creators can respond to fan comments on their videos on iOS devices using Shorts on Google’s YouTube platform, which is owned by Google.
The brand acknowledged receiving requests from producers to include comments made on their channels in the short-form video app’s contents.
In a statement, YouTube Shorts advised users to “invite their audience to connect with you via this new feature by answering their questions in your Shorts, taking content requests, responding to comments in your films, and whatever else you come up with.”
The upgrade is currently being rolled out, and in the upcoming weeks, all Shorts makers will be able to test it out on iOS, with “Android launching down the road.”
The business claimed that it is also looking into possibilities such as alerting commenters when their comments are highlighted.
With 30 billion daily views, YouTube Shorts is rapidly expanding. Additionally, the company plans to introduce its Shorts on YouTube TV, a platform for smart TVs.
Additionally, YouTube TV plans to introduce a new feature dubbed “Mosaic Mode” that would allow users to view up to four live streams at once.
By introducing a new “Edit into a Short” option to its iOS and Android apps, the streaming platform recently announced that users may now convert their longer videos into Shorts in an effort to improve the user experience.
