Young Talent Shaik Rasheed Makes IPL Debut for CSK in 2025
Chennai Super Kings gave the debut cap to 20-year-old Shaik Rasheed in support of their effort to do new things in the ongoing IPL 2025 match against Lucknow Super Giants. CSK is placed at the bottom of the table, and we hope Rasheed’s induction will provide some momentum for the team.
The young batter from Guntur, Andhra Pradesh, has caused quite a stir on the domestic cricket landscape. He was rather popular during the Under-19 T20 World Cup in 2022, when he contributed to India winning the title mainly by scoring 201 runs in four matches.He was the third-highest run scorer for his team in this tournament.
He is travelling to the tournament. So far, he has accomplished 1204 runs in 19 First-Class matches with an outstanding average of 46.04. In the shorter form, he hit 352 runs in 17 matches at the rate of 29.33 and a strike rate of 127.07.

He has been part of the CSK unit since ahead of IPL 2023 and was bought for ₹30 lakh in the IPL 2025 auction. Fans are very eager about this young gun and his promise in the field as CSK strives upward on the points table.
