1) Delhi Daredevils
In 2012, the Delhi Daredevils finished first in the points table with 22 points from 16 games.
But still they lost the first qualifying round and were eliminated. The Daredevils were on a six-match losing sequence in 2013 until breaking it.
2) Pune Warriors
The Pune Warriors’ losing streak began in 2012 (nine losses in a straight) and continued in 2013. (losses in the first two games of the season).
With a win versus Rajasthan Royals in the third match of the 2013 season, the squad ended its losing streak.
In 2013, they did not improve. At one point during the season, it had nine straight losses. The team won the first 2 games of its debut season in 2011, but then again lost the next seven matches.
3) Mumbai Indians (MI)
The year 2022 has been the darkest for Mumbai Indians in the Indian Premier League. The five-time champion is off to the poorest start of any club in the IPL season.
This year’s Mumbai Indians have had their worst losing sequence in the IPL, with eight losses consistently.

4) Delhi Daredevils
The Delhi Daredevils’ losing trend began in 2014 (9 consecutive losses) and continued into the following season when the team won their third game over Kings XI Punjab in 2015.
In 2012, the Delhi Daredevils finished first in the points table scoring 22 points from 16 games, however they lost the first qualification and got the elimination.
The Daredevils lost their first six games in 2013, before breaking their losing run.
5) Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR)
After defeating Punjab in their first match in 2009, the Kolkata Knight Riders were unsuccessful in nine of their next ten matches (excluding one match). KKR won the final two matches of the season to end their losing pattern.
6) Deccan Chargers (DC)
Deccan Chargers had a terrible debut season of the IPL in 2008, winning only two out of 14 matches. It had been beaten in seven consecutive matches in a series.
7) Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB)
With six consecutive losses, Royal Challengers Bangalore experienced one of its poorest seasons in 2019. It had been defeated in its final match of the 2018 season, bringing the total number of losses to seven.
