Women’s Rugby World Cup 2025: Full Schedule, Outcomes, Locations, and Major Highlights

The Women’s Rugby World Cup 2025 is currently taking place in England, marking the 10th edition of this highly anticipated event in women’s rugby. The tournament will take place August 22-September 27, bringing five weeks of the best rugby in the world in eight locations. This will be the third time England hosts it, and the Red Roses would like to win it as they have won the Six Nations seven years consecutively. Ranked No. 1 in the world, they are going to do anything to win their trophy at home, in Twickenham Stadium, as the road to glory is not going to be so easy.
Their way is blocked by the New Zealand Black Ferns, six times the world champions, and champions in 2019 and 2021. Five of those titles have already been secured on English ground, and the Black Ferns present the greatest challenge for England. It is going to be intense than ever with 16 teams competing in four pools, thus the most competitive Women Rugby World Cup ever.
