ICC Announces Shreyas Iyer and Georgia Voll as Player of the Month for March

India’s dependable Middle Order Batsman Shreyas Iyer and Australia’s newfound batting terror Georgia Voll are selected as Player of the Month for March 2025. Official announcements made by the council on Tuesday reveal their Men’s and Women’s stand out performers of the past weeks.

On bagging his second Player of the Month title, Shreyas Iyer shared that, “I’m truly honored to be named the ICC Men’s Player of the Month for March. This recognition is incredibly special, especially in a month where we lifted the ICC Champions Trophy – a moment I will cherish forever.”
Iyer scored a batting average of 57.33 with a total score of 172 off of the final three games in the Champions Trophy 2025, paving way for the remarkable win for the team, a third time in history.
Georgia Voll, who made her debut for Australia in December 2024 and quickly cemented her role as a dependable batter. Bagging her first ICC Player of the Month, Voll shared, “Winning this award is certainly a nice way to cap off what’s been an incredible summer for myself and the team.”
ICC Player of the Month for March Men’s award was contested among New Zealand’s Jacob Duffy and Rachin Ravindra while Women’s award was contested among Australia’s Annabel Sutheland and USA’s Chetnaa Prasad.
Voll made her presence more profound with her scoring heaps of runs and finishing second against the white wash series and finishing it off with a career high of 75 off 57 in the final game.
The ICC Player of the Month is selected by an exclusive committee of members of Hall of Famers, retired players and a selective committee of ICC board members.
