Which Companies Become The Most Attractive Employer Brands In India?
According to the annual report ‘Randstad Employer Brand Research (REBR) 2023’ by HR services provider Randstad India, Tata Power Company has been recognized as the most attractive employer brand in India.
The report revealed that Tata Power Company scored high on financial health, good reputation, and career progression opportunities, which contributed to its rise from 9th position in 2022 to the top spot in 2023.
E-commerce giant Amazon climbed the rankings and secured the second position, followed by Tata Steel, another new entrant in the top three.
IT major Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) secured the fourth position, while Microsoft, Samsung India, Infosys, Tata Motors, IBM, and Reliance Industries also featured in the top 10 most attractive employer brands.
The report also highlighted Big Basket, the online megastore, as the most attractive startup employer brand in the country.
It further revealed that the automotive sector was rated the most attractive by employees, followed by IT, ITeS, and Telecom, as well as FMCG, Retail, and e-commerce.
Work-life balance, good reputation, and attractive salary and benefits were identified as the top three drivers for the Indian workforce when choosing an employer. The report emphasized that women tend to place more emphasis on work-life balance.
Additionally, the report found that 91% of employees surveyed agreed that an employer is more attractive if they allow employees to take up additional jobs or assignments for supplemental income.
Viswanath P S, the Managing Director and CEO of Randstad India, highlighted the importance of employer branding in attracting talent and shaping the perception of organizations.
The report aims to provide insights into the talent pool’s perception of ideal employers and identify areas for improvement.
