If the Queen passed away in London, Buckingham Palace reportedly already had an arrangement in place for her funeral, code-named “London Bridge,” according to a 2021 Politico report.
But Operation Unicorn has already started. If the queen passed away in Scotland, the palace had chosen to name the facility after the country’s national animal, according to news agency AFP.
Some aspects of the operation have already begun to take place; BBC anchors are already wearing all-black attire, and the news has moved to rolling.
The United Kingdom’s national anthem will also be changed to include the heir apparent to the throne.
Over the years, Charles’ image will gradually replace those of the Queen on all current UK currency notes and coins.
Politicians are getting ready for a state funeral and have already lowered the national flag at Downing Street to half mast.
Prince Charles will probably tour the nation in the days before the funeral; the royal family is already present at Balmoral.
The world’s sorrow for the Queen was led by Prime Minister Narendra Modi. PM Modi posted a tweet & said,
“I had memorable meetings with Queen Elizabeth II during my UK visits in 2015 and 2018. I will never forget her warmth and kindness. I will always cherish that gesture.”
