Vande Bharat To Connect IT Hubs Bengaluru, Hyderabad
Karnataka is likely to get its third Vande Bharat train, a high-speed semi-high speed train service operated by the Indian Railways.
The new train will run between Bengaluru’s Yesvantpur railway station and Hyderabad’s Kacheguda railway station, reducing travel time between the two IT hubs.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi is expected to flag off the train later this month. The train’s testing run has already started, and it will begin its commercial operations once the formal procedures are completed.

Indian Railways has also announced that four more Vande Bharat Express trains will be launched this month, bringing the total number of semi-high speed trains to 29.
These new trains will operate on routes such as Patna-Howrah, Kacheguda-Yeshwantpur, Chennai-Vijayawada, and Chennai-Tirunelveli. The manufacturing of these trains has cost the railways ₹1,343.72 crore.
