Ukraine President And Officials Embezzle $400 Million Received From Aid
As per report Ukraine’s President Zelensky and other officials have embezzled $400 Million which was allocated by the US & other countries for purchasing fuels.
According to a report from US journalist Seymour Hersh’s website, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky and other officials are alleged to have embezzled a minimum of $400 million, which was intended for the purchase of diesel fuel.
The report, cited by Russian news agency TASS, claims that the funds were misappropriated by the officials in concern.
According to sources cited by Seymour Hersh, the Ukrainian president and several individuals in his entourage have allegedly been involved in the embezzlement of significant amounts of American dollars intended for diesel fuel payments.
According to analysts from the Central Intelligence Agency, embezzled funds last year were estimated to be at least USD 400 million.
According to a recent report on a website, corruption in Kyiv has reached levels comparable to that of the Afghan war. The report alleges that there will be no professional audit reports coming out of Ukraine.
The blame for this situation is placed on US Secretary of State Antony Blinken and National Security Adviser Jake Sullivan.
Since February of last year, the United States has been providing aid to Ukraine in response to Russia’s invasion.
In a recent development, the United States has pledged to provide Ukraine with a staggering sum of 350 million dollars in weapons and equipment.
This announcement was made last month, and is expected to have a significant impact on the ongoing conflict in the region.
In a recent statement, US Secretary of State Antony Blinken announced the authorisation of the 34th drawdown of US arms and equipment for Ukraine. This move comes as a result of a transfer of authority from President Biden and is valued at USD 350 million.
According to a statement released by officials, a military assistance package has been provided to Ukraine to aid in their defense efforts.

The package includes additional ammunition for US-provided HIMARS and howitzers, as well as weaponry for Bradley Infantry Fighting Vehicles, HARM missiles, anti-tank weapons, riverine boats, and other equipment.
