UAE’s First Traditional Hindu Temple To Open In February 2024
The UAE has presented a perfect demonstration of communal harmony by building a 1,000-year durable Hindu Temple, along with a 108-feet tall statue in AbuDhabi.
The UAE’s first traditional Hindu stone temple, BAPS Hindu Mandir, will open to the public in February 2024. The temple is being constructed on land gifted by Sheikh Mohamed, and its foundation stone was laid in April 2019.
The temple is being built by 3,000 craftsmen under the supervision of 10 priests, with thousands of residents also contributing to the construction effort.

The temple’s inner sanctum, or ‘garbhagriha,’ will be shaped during this phase of construction, which involves the central shrine that houses the deities.
Sadhus recited Sanskrit verses during the ceremony, praying for the timely completion of the temple, which will be open to people of all faiths.
1,000 Years Life-Long Durability
The temple’s construction is being overseen by 3,000 craftsmen and ten priests, and the inner sanctum is being shaped during the current phase of construction.
The temple’s height of 108 feet is expected to last for a minimum of 1,000 years, and the temple will be open to people of all faiths when it opens in February 2024.
