Tripura Gets Projects Worth ₹4,350 Crore, Emerged As The Cleanest State
PM Modi launched ₹4,350 crore projects in Agartala on Sunday. Northwest has witnessed a massive transformation in governance & work culture in the last few years.
On Sunday, Prime Minister Narendra Modi inaugurated and laid foundation stones for various development projects in Agartala, months ahead of the Tripura assembly election.
Modi stated that the government’s focus is on Tripura’s holistic development and that the projects will help the northeastern state grow.
Modi addressed a crowd in Agartala and stated that cleanliness has become a mass movement over the past five years. Tripura became the cleanest state in the country.
Modi created the “Grih Pravesh”, a programme that provides more than 2 lakh beneficiaries to the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana – Urban and Rural – schemes.

Priti Gandhi, the National Executive Member of BJP Mahila Morcha, tweeted that “Entire Tripura has joined together as one force in welcoming our honorable Prime Minister Narendra Modi ji!”
PM Modi stated that more than 2 lakh families from poverty are now able to own their homes, and that the majority of them are Tripura mothers and sisters.
He said that thousands of crores of rupees have been spent on infrastructure and connectivity projects in the state.

“The BJP is the first choice for the tribal community. The BJP won 24 out of 27 seats in Gujarat, which was reserved for tribal communities. Modi stated that Modi has given priority to issues relating to the tribes.
Modi stated that the government is committed to improving the lives of Janjatiya people. Modi said that the budget, which was Rs21,000 crore, is now ₹88,000 crore.
“In the northeast, many national highways were built in the past eight years. Many rural areas are also connected to roads… The PM stated that the double-engine government is focused on improving social, digital and physical infrastructure.
“I want to congratulate Tripura’s people for making Swachhta an international movement. Tripura is now the cleanest state among the smallest states. He said, “I congratulate Tripura for getting a new dentist college today.”
Modi dedicated, inaugurated and laid the foundation stones to various projects in Shillong worth Rs2,450 crores earlier in the day as part of the North Eastern Council’s golden jubilee celebrations.
