Telugu cinema glitters with Kingdom (27 August, Netflix), in which Vijay Deverakonda plays a constable-turned-spy who gets into a murderous war between cartels in Sri Lanka.
On the lighter side, Anurag Basu’s Metro… In Dino (29 August, Netflix): A mesmerizing story of love that compares to sweet and sour relationships in a city setting, Rambo in Love (29 August, JioHotstar) is a funny story of betrayal and the second chance.
More variety is found in regional stories through Sambhava Vivaranam Nalarasangham (29 August, SonyLIV), a gritty underworld tale set in Kerala, and Shodha (29 August, ZEE5), a psych-thriller based around mistaken identity and trust in a marriage.
