The Kashmir Files Wins ‘Best Film’ Award At International Film Festival

Vivek Agnihotri directed ‘The Kashmir Files’ won the ‘Best Film’ award at the Dadasaheb Phalke International Film Festival Awards 2023. RRR also won an award.
The Kashmir Files by Vivek Agnihotri and RRR by SS Rajamouli won the Dadasaheb International Film Festival Awards 2023. The International Film of the Year went to “RRR,” and Best Film went to “The Kashmir Files.” The prize presentation, which happened on February 20.
On Twitter, filmmaker Vivek Agnihotri announced the news and posted images and a video from the award event.
He noted: “In the Dada Saheb Phalke Awards in 2023, “Best Film” is given to “The Kashmir Files.” This honor is given in honor of all terrorist victims as well as the Indian people in general for their support.”
Anupam Kher’s performance in The Kashmir Files earned him the title of Most Versatile Actor of the Year. Rekha received recognition for her work in the film industry. The Most (Best) Promising Actor honor went to Rishab Shetty for Kantara.
For “Bhediya,” Varun Dhawan received the Critics’ Choice Award for Best Actor. For her portrayal of the famous character Gangubai in Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s “Gangubai Kathiyawadi,” Alia was chosen best actress, and Ranbir was nominated best actor for “Brahmastra.”
Among others, the TV shows Anupamaa, Zain Imam, Sachet Tandon, and Neeti Mohan won honors. At the ceremony for the awards, “Rudra: The Edge of Darkness” by Ajay Devgn was chosen as the Best Web Series.
The Dadasaheb Phalke International Film Festival celebrates the excellence of the Indian cinema industry by honoring talent.
According to its official website, the festival strives to recognise and support emerging projects by introducing them to general audiences in order to showcase the excellence of the Indian cinema industry.
